Eligibility & Registration


  1. Company ID Proof
    All participants must present a valid company ID at the time of registration. In the absence of a company ID, a stamped and signed letter from the HR department certifying the participant's employment status must be submitted.

  2. Contractual Staff
    Contractual staff may be permitted to participate at the company’s discretion, provided they have been associated with the organization for a minimum of six months. This must be confirmed through an official letter on the company's letterhead.

  3. Ranked Players
    Players ranked in the Top 8 at the national level are not eligible to participate in this tournament.

  4. Working Professionals
    Working professionals — including doctors, business owners, civil servants, etc. — are eligible to participate in both Singles and Doubles events.

Tournament Description

Invitation: STAG GTAG Global Corporate TT Champions League

  • Event Dates: January 24–25, 2026

  • Venue: New Town, Kolkata

  • Participants: 200+ players from 50–60 corporate entities across West Bengal

      Tournament Structure

      • Two Stages:

        • Stage 1 – Preliminary (Hub Level): Group league format (3–4 teams per pool), round-robin matches

        • Stage 2 – National Finale: Top 2 teams from each category qualify for progressive knockout rounds

      • Final 2 winners from each category qualify for the Champion Division

Tournament Objectives

The Champions League is designed to promote a culture of competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship among corporate participants. It promises to be more than just a sporting event, it will serve as a platform for collaboration, enjoyment, and building camaraderie among colleagues away from the usual workplace dynamics.

Tournament Regulations & Format

The event will be conducted in accordance with ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) Regulations.

Team Event

Team Composition

  • Each team must consist of 2 to 4 players, all from the same organization/company.

Event Format

  • Stage 1: Preliminary Round

    • Teams will be divided into pools of 3 – 4 teams.

    • Round-robin (league) format within each pool.

    • Top two teams from each pool advance to Stage 2.

  • Stage 2: Knockout Round

    • Qualified teams compete in a single-elimination (knockout) format.

Team Match Format

Each team match will consist of 3 matches in the following order:

  1. Men’s Singles 1

  2. Men’s Doubles

  3. Men’s Singles 2


Individual Events

Men’s Singles (Open)

  • Format: League-cum-Knockout

  • 3 - 4 participants per group

  • Top two players from each group qualifies for the knockout stage

Men’s Doubles

  • Format: League-cum-Knockout

  • 3 - 4 teams per group

  • Top two teams from each group qualifies for the knockout stage

Mixed Doubles & Men’s Doubles 40+

  • Format: League-cum-Knockout

  • 3- 4  teams per group

  • Top 2 teams from each group qualify for the knockout stage

Doubles Pairing Criteria

  • Both players in a pair must belong to the same company

  • Each company may enter up to 2 teams per category


Match Rules

  • League Matches: Best of 3 games

  • Knockout Matches: Best of 5 games
